30.09.08 - Wake me up when September ends... oh wait that's in 40 minutes!
Okay, so September is almost over, and I definately didn't update very much this month. I've been busy with studying and hanging with homies and such. Gettin' my learn (and coffee!) on and such. Aside from school being school, and me kicking it's ass, there hasn't been much worth reporting really. PipeROM4 is done. Again, if you've got a CDMA HTC Touch, and want to try it, let me know. I can hook you up.
I think I'm going to start saving money. Putting it away somewhere (not in a bank, since they take more than they give), and maybe some day I'll have enough to like... I don't know, buy something shiny? A boy can dream can't he? haha We'll see how that goes. I really have nothing else to say. I'm lame. I know. Maybe October will be more eventful? Time will tell...

15.09.08 - PipeROM4 is on it's way! Delicious stuff it will be!
Lately I've been doing alot of work on PipeROM4 (for the HTC Touch) and I had to say it's looking quite nice. I don't think many people who read this have that phone, or even know what I'm talking about, but for those that do, believe me it's going to be greatness! Check this video out for a preview of what's coming. A new interface, which is definately awesome, is in this one! Very cool stuff.
Still hoping to get a new interface on this website too, and hopefully Bill will help me out with that sometime soon. The nicer this site is, and the happier I am with it, the more I will update it and the better it will become. So there's an incentive for you Bill. Do it for me, and my balls.
I really don't have anything else to talk about. I'm not sure why I'm really even updating. Just to say hello I guess. I'm bored. Play with me? I'll give you candy! Alright I'm out. Peas.

09.09.08 - The Zombie Preparedness Initiative! Keep your head - Remove theirs!
I may have just stumble-upon'd into the most important thing someone could ever read. For years I have been thinking about when the zombies might come in large masses to overtake the living population, and it appears I am not alone. To my suprise, there is sort of a zombie attack-survival guide that everyone can read online for free! The Zombie Preparedness Initiative "is an online knowledge base provided by a community of citizens concerned about the impending zombie invasion and the imminent disaster that is sure to follow". I suggest you all check it out. That is all for today everyone. Stay safe - zombies could be anywhere.

04.09.08 - Google Android to feature Google Chrome as a mobile browser!
Perusing through some news articles just now, and I came across something interesting! Google is planning on implementing it's new web browser - Chrome - into their still-in-development mobile platform! Similar to what Apple did when they put a mobile Safari version on the iPhone's. I find this to be pretty exciting news, since there are already ports of Android available for my phone (HTC Touch), and I'm really liking the approach Google has taken with their browser so far. Anyways, I may the only person who thinks that's pretty awesome. I'm a geek.
Oh, and while I'm on the topic of my phone, it's going to be for sale pretty soon. So if anyone is interested in it, feel free to e-mail me some offers. It's the HTC P3050 (Touch) on Telus. It has all the features that are listed on the Telus Mobility website, plus full GPS/AGPS and EVDO REV A capabilities. Plus the software is totally modded (by me!) making the phone capable of much much more. So yeah, send me a line if you're interested or want more information. It'll be a little while yet, but sooner or later it's going to be sold. =)
Well, time to study, damn final exams. Later!

03.09.08 - Google Chrome - a web browser? or much much more?
Hey everyone. Today I would like to talk to you about Google Chrome, the latest project from the almightly Google team. I first heard of this new web browser yesterday, and I decided I should probably check it out. It's still in BETA right now, but it's still a pretty amazing piece of software! It's lightning fast, pleasing to look at, and well engineered with a minimalistic design which indeed does make web browsing even easier than it already is! It features all of the same security measures that Mozilla Firefox and Microsoft Internet Explorer offer, while cutting out alot of the garbage options that bulk up both of those browsers. Yes, I said it, Firefox is way bulkier and resource heavy than I am finding Chrome to be. Which in itself is a pretty big leap in the right direction. And I'm sure everyone has their own opinion on Microsoft IE, which nobody really needs to discuss. It is what it is, too little too late.
Chrome has an extremely well put together web page tabs design. They call it Dynamic Tabs, I call it orgasmic tabs. Regardless, you can move your tabs around to put them in different order, you can click-and-drag a tab out to turn it into it's own window, or you can click-and-drag a window into the tab bar to send it back to being a tab. Awesome. Simply awesome. I have been waiting for something like this. Tabbed browsing has never had it better.
Anyways, you don't need to take my word on all of this, you can simply go download it yourself and experience the web in an entirely new way. Or you can be a sucker and NOT download it. Whatever, it's upto you. But unless they do something terribly wrong between now and the final version of Google Chrome, I will not be going back to IE or Firefox in the foreseeable future.
Hope you all enjoyed that review, and maybe you will find yourself as happy as I am with this browser. And no, I am not in cohoots with Google in anyway, and this is not a paid advertisement. It's truely just an awesome and powerful browser that combines sexiness with ease of use and stability. Here's a screenshot for you to see what it looks like.

01.09.08 - Wow... August was eventful!
So eventful, that I completely neglected this site, and all 3 of you that read it! I'm sorry. I can't help but ignore things when other things are making me do things that make ignoring of things happen. Get it? Anyways, a few things to share I guess, I mean hey why not. I'm doing laundry so I'm clearly bored.
First things first, this weekend was totally awesomesauce. Beemers party was fantastic, the bar with the homies was also fantastic, the beach today was fantastic, corn roast was pretty fantastic, and whatever else I did also bears the fantastic stamp of approval! Thanks to Beemer for hosting that shit, it was dope. I'd do it again. Also, Brent showed up this weekend, and I had NO idea he was coming, which seemed to be the situation for most people. But yeah that was a cool suprise! Too bad he's back in Edmoncrap now. Sucks.
Also, I'd like to share a link with you all. www.SSMunch.com. If you like to download music but are sick of the virii and other junk you get with Limewire or whatever other client you may use, or even if you just like to listen to music without having to actually DOWNLOAD the song, because streaming the same song over and over and wasting a ton of bandwidth is your thing, than this site is for you. Seriously, it's pretty awesome. It's the google of mp3's. And it's giving me a raging clue right now!
I better go check on that laundry thing, I don't hear the washer running anymore, so that can only mean one of two things.. either i put way to many clothes in there and burned the thing out (likely), or it's done washing! (less likely, but also likely). Take it easy kids!
**EDIT** - I can't believe I forgot this!! I won't tell you what it is, but I will provide this link. I suggest you all go to that and watch those videos. You will not be disappointed. Unless you're one of those people with like, super high morals and are against anything silly and demeaning to handicapped people. In which case, you're probably already at the wrong site :D
